Visit to the Rookeries

iving in London most of my life this has been my first
visit to the Texas Coast. I’ve been an avid birder for most
of my life and my dearest wish was to see firsthand the
majestic Whooping Cranes. Although I had intended on
making the trip earlier in the year, I managed to arrive in Texas
shortly before the cranes would begin their journey back to Canada.
