Moving to the realm of grammar, figure 18 shows that a great number of respondents demand from students to learn grammatical rules before they are given the chance to practice them (see appendix IV, p. 126, table 68), something which is in accordance with the findings concerning their preference towards the synthetic approach and the PPP teaching model, discussed above.
