Berlin Cathedral Paella This Berlin Cathedral was featured in our Nov. – Dec. 2014 Issue. The Evangelical Supreme Parish and Collegiate Church also known as the Berlin Cathedral (German: Berliner Dom), is located on Museum Island. The dome is intricately decorated with mosaics and has notable artworks such as Sauer’s Organ, the Neo-Baroque pulpit and stained glass windows designed by Anton von Werner. No trip to Berlin is complete without a visit to Museum Island. During your visit to Seville, Spain, be sure to try the local cuisine. The traditional Spanish Paella is very tasty and can be made with chicken, rabbit, vegetables or seafood. Sushi in Berlin Sushi lovers can enjoy this delicacy at a number of restaurants dotted throughout Berlin. Berlin Victory Column (Siegessäule) This 67m (approximately 220ft) gilded monument was built to commemorate the Prussian victory in the Danish-Prussian War. Later, victories in the “Unification Wars” inspired the 35 tonnes bronze sculpture of Victoria. This is a major tourist attraction. Traditional South African singers and dancers welcome passengers from the ferry at the V&A Waterfront. The Seville Cathedral If you are a history buff, the Seville Cathedral is one of the places that you must see during your visit. The cathedral was built in 1248 to display the city’s wealth. Despite its age, inside still contains elements of its original magnificence and grandeur. Lion’s Head Mountain Cape Town is known for its striking mountains. Lion’s Head is located between Table Mountain and Signal Hill in Cape Town. Hout Bay – Seal Feeding The Courtyard of the Maidens This royal palace is considered as one of the oldest royal palaces still in use in Europe. It is located in the Alcázar of Seville. Once there, you will be captivated by its rich history. Escape to the coastal town of Hout Bay, which boasts a picturesque view of the harbour and lovely swimming beaches.
