Beautiful food that you could help yourself to; flowers and books everywhere; like a proper hug of a restaurant. If you were to create a meal around synaesthesia, what would it be? Q I have a very faint form of synaesthesia, and have always bitterly envied people who have it properly: it seems incredibly magical to hear sound, feel colour. For me, the first – and most properly synaesthetic, I think – is that people have colours, and, sometimes, an accompanying almost-taste.
