WORK IN PROGRESS.
I went to the bank and withdrew money.
Inside the bank there is a Starbucks.
Inside the Starbucks there is a McDonald's,
and inside the McDonald's, another bank.
I had reached the edge of our universe,
so, I turned back to a street decorated with
pine boughs and strings of colored lights.
There I see a crowd of men go over the bridge
that spans the river at Wacker and Madison.
Past the Opera House they follow en masse,
like hogs hauled across the Bridge of Sighs.
Say, "Rubber baby buggy bumpers," fast.
