It ’ s important to know what you ’ re responsible for in your home and who can live there . We recently took a case to court after a resident allowed people to move into his home to grow an illegal substance . The power had been illegally diverted to grow it , so the energy company turned off the electricity supply .

Tea for Two ( Hundred )

More than 200 Sussex residents joined us for our over 55 ’ s Cream Tea event at Bannatyne ’ s Hotel , Hastings . The popular , annual event is a great chance to get together , meet people and find out more about our services . And of course , enjoy a delicious cream tea !

Calling all you independent ladies ! FREE DIY ( do it yourself ) courses . Sign up for friendly , female only training sessions in Hastings this September . For unemployed / low waged women aged 18-24yrs old .
Learn how to hang wallpaper , use power tools , lay laminate flooring and tile a bathroom . This opportunity is also open to non-residents , so please spread the word to friends and relatives .

A judge decided the resident was responsible for the costs and the condition of the property which was poor due to a lack of heat .
