As a young girl from Kentucky, I came to England to
spend my life with the man I had fallen hopelessly in
love with. We were married here at Sudeley, his family
home. As I walked up the aisle, surrounded by all those
centuries of history, I remember feeling as though I had
stepped into a fairy tale. For me, it was the beginning
of a second love affair, with the Castle itself – surely
one of the most beautiful places in England. It has been
my home now for nearly fifty years, and it gives me
huge pleasure to be able to share it with others, on the
day they start their own married lives.
May you find as much happiness with your partner as I
found with mine.
My family and I wish you the very best in your
future lives together.
