offices at the three main campuses . We try to be in each office as often as we can . When we ’ re not available , you can always contact us by email or telephone : Dial 0300 303 0303 ( extension 7631 for Ayr , 2052 for Kilwinning or 8274 for Kilmarnock ).
We are also on social media . Search for Ayrshire College Student Association on Facebook and Twitter .
Don ’ t forget to give us feedback , it ’ s important to know what you think is working well and what isn ' t .
What do we do with your feedback ?
As soon as the Student Association receives your feedback we get to work in dealing with any problems that you have let us know about . We look at where we can work with you to put the situation right . We prioritise the issue depending on the extent to which it is affecting your learning , how many people it is affecting , and how it should be dealt with . We make sure that the information is fed to the appropriate college team and work with them to look at potential solutions .
You said we did TOGETHER !
To keep you up-to-date on the work of the Student Association and how we ’ re working for you , we launched our new ‘ You Said We Did Together ’ newsletter in April . This is sent to every student every month . As a student-led organisation , this gives us the opportunity to let you know how your feedback has informed change , opportunities you can get involved in , and any news we think will be of interest .
I have had a great year so far helping students deal with challenges , as well as hearing your good news stories . I ’ m really excited to share student news with you through our new newsletter .

Closing the loop
No-one likes to feel that they are not being listened to or that their opinions are not valued . It is important that we let you know what we did with your feedback and how that feedback informed change .
We close the loop in several ways which include feeding directly back to the student or class who raised the issue , and also through class rep meetings . Minutes from class rep meetings are emailed to every class rep and are posted to our Class Rep section on Moodle , which can be accessed by all students . We would hope that you see the benefit of the change you ’ ve helped to make happen , or at least are given reasons to why changes cannot be implemented . No feedback is ever wasted , and , when dealt with collaboratively between the students and College , goes a long way to enhance the student experience .
