WOMEN THE HEALTHY CORNER Being healthy is for everyone, whether you’re skinny or chubby. When we talk about being healthier, our goal may be to lose a few pounds (which is a consequence of our healthy lifestyle), but the focus is not on having the body of a super model or to idolize our image. None of that! Rather, we want to be a living reference of God and the only way to be that reference in this world is through our choices in life. Yes, choices. It can be difficult to choose the healthiest options. Perhaps your whole life you’ve made choices that were not the best and now you’re determined to change your habits. Changing habits require a lot of discipline. As we know, discipline may seem very harsh, it hurts, but it is for the best. A disciplined lifestyle leads to success. The opposite is also true: a life lacking in rules, without discipline, can lead to destruction. So here we go! Many of you just want to learn everything at once, but it’s no use knowing everything and doing nothing. The secret is to put into practice what little you may know. Are you ready to change your habits? 1. Eliminate bad habits: STOP SUFFERING|16 Limit yourself to eating “junk food” only once a week. Example: fries, chips, burgers, hot dogs, cakes, ice cream, crisps (packaged), biscuits (cookies) etc. There will come a time when this kind of “stuff” will no longer make your eyes shine. 2. Add good habits: a) Eat two types of fruit per day; b) Eat 3 cups of any vegetable or vegetables per day; 3. Drink water: Water is responsible for transporting essential nutrients to our cells.
