The Model agency , Fashion Model discovered me during the Armani show in Rome . In November 1983 , I started modeling in Milano . After that I began modeling for all the other model agencies from Paris . Then in New York it was Wilhelmina . Japan discovered me in Milano and I began working for them . After almost two years in the model business I had advanced my model career . I went to work with one of the best photographers , Klaus Wickradt for Jean Paul Gaultier in 1984 , for Italian Vogue . In the same year I worked as well with the famous and fabulous illustrator Antonio Lopez and the Italian fashion writer and style icon Anna Piaggi for Missoni . It was a campaign for Vogue worldwide . Also I did many shows for big designers in Milano and Paris . At the same year I did the world wide campaign for the Olympic Games in LA 1984 .

Mid of 1985 I went back to Germany to open my own designer agency . called “ showroom dietmarschloten ”. A very close friend introduced me to John Galliano in the Summer of 1985 . In September 1985 our first business meeting was scheduled . After our successful meeting , we agreed to start our cooperation for the German speaking market ( Germany , Austria and Swiss ) starting in January 1986 for the Winter Season 1986 . A season later ( 6 month later ) I started with the French Fashion House Amor SARL in order to introduce the collection Plein Sud to the German speaking market ( Germany , Austria an Swiss ). In 1988 Mr . Faycal Amor introduced his collection Faycal Amor Women and Men to the international market . Therefore a new business agreement was signed with Amor SARL . In the same year I started with the English Designer Rifat Ozbek . In 1989 I started with the designer house Dolce & Gabbana . Many labels came afterwards such as Antonia Berardi , Vivienne Westwood , Stella McCartney and many more .
