August 24th, 2016 was a very happy day for me, knowing that I would get to see my friend from the early 70’sFran Smith Jr, .Bassist for The Hooters. I had not seen “Franny” since The Hooters performed at The Zodiac
Nightclub in Allentown, Pa back in 1993, which actually was the last time that the band had performed here.
With the advent of Facebook, we have been able to stay in contact with each other, and I convinced him to do a
radio interview with me for my podcast show- Music 101 back in 2013.
