contrasting picture of life in New York and Alabama. In the same manner, musically the
third track has a very catchy groove. I find myself keeping time with his drummer. Jordan
can rock (or should I say
Jordan can country?) The
track Budge has some really
soulful keyboard work which
combined with the violin is
simply fantastic.
In all honesty, there is not a
bad song on this
album. Jordan, I mean this
most sincerely: “You are a
talented young cat.” If there is
anything I don’t care for
much, it is the lyrics. Jordan is
a mere 18 years old, I have
socks older than that. There is
something that strikes me as a
bit goofy about an 18 year old
guy singing “I ain’t made
much from singing songs” and
“Cause as I’ve always said,
Life is better with a smile on
your face.” OK, am I being ,
well, grouchy? Yes, and
Jordan, you are not alone I have given a lot of bands grief over their lyrics. The bottom line
is simply this:
Jordan Green is a talented musician who deserves a listen. Personally, I liked each and every
one of the ten tracks on this album. This album would make a good addition to
any collection. I look forward to hearing more from Jordan in the future particularly after he
has matured a bit and really hits his stride. Make no mistake, Jordan is a force to be reckoned
with and that force will only get stro
