As we look ahead to 2017 we are confronted by an array of challenges , difficult situations and the prospect of personal struggles . Yet , in Philippians we read “ Do not be anxious about anything , but in every situation , by prayer and petition , with thanksgiving , present your requests to God .” ( 4:6 ). So , to aid us in our thanksgiving there are listed below some of the many encouragements from 2016 . Let us commit ourselves to God ’ s continued love and care in 2017 , and present our requests to Him !
