Carolyn Haines is a native of Mississippi and a multi-published author. She's a former photojournalist, class clown, and currently teaches fiction writing at the University of South Alabama. She is the author of the Sarah Booth Delaney Mississippi Delta Mystery Series and also The Darkling, a dark and chilling tale written under the pseudonym R. B. Chesterton. When not making up stories, Carolyn is busy advocating for animals and working to spay and neuter strays. She also runs a writer's conference at various Southern locations.
