A Ro s e Colore d P a t h By Becca Horne It is this beauty of spirit that comes through is Cindy Ellis’s art. One has only to look at her home and the quaint garden houses built by Bob, her husband of 37 years, to know that she is indeed on to something on her rose-colored journey. There is a feeling of peace and contentment in every nook and cranny. Although Ellis found great success as an artist early on, she had not found her true path. Due to the economy and life circumstances, she found herself at a point of having to reevaluate herself both as an artist and individual. “Through my struggles, I found my place,” Ellis shared. And it is from this place of true contentment and grace that Cindy Ellis hopes to share with others what she has learned on her on journey so far. “Don’t ever give up hope,” said Ellis. “Don’t become stuck in the same patterns, the same ways. Sometimes we think we see the light, but it is the true light source beyond the light we have to struggle to find,” she went on to say. “I thank God everyday for the gift of roses.”
