I love hot dogs. There, I said it. I confess a tasty sausage served in a soft warm bun piled high with assorted condiments is irresistible. I've been known to eat several hot dogs between gates in the crowded concourses of O'Hare airport. My favorite Manhattan experience is noshing a street vendor hot dog in Bryant Park and I definitely must have a Costco dog during our monthly shopping trip. A grilled charred sausage nestled in soft warm bread stirs my heart. And that's the whole point of this article. My heart. Specifically my heart health and such.
