Because this is a fragile habitat, access is restricted to a 3.2 mile (round
trip) trail. Given that the trail is thin and fairly overgrown and with the
interesting variety of fauna to be found here, pants are recommended!
Be aware that Google Maps and Apple Maps don’t know exactly
where the entrance to the preserve is, so it may be worth planning
your route in advance.
The preserve is open from dawn to dusk and does not require a permit.
