Because I love my body , I now realize that it wasn ’ t that there was anything wrong with it other than the stigma associated with fatness .

I love my body because it allows me to experience unreserved , unapologetic joy . I lived for too long with the fear of bringing attention to my fat and therefore myself . I hid and I stopped experiencing all that life could offer me because I didn ’ t feel like I deserved it and I felt as if my body would affect my experience .”
