Mad Jack fought through the Second World War armed with a Longbow and Broadsword. He is credited with the last recorded killing of an enemy with a Longbow and arrow after shooting a German NCO in a French village during 1940.
As if that were not enough, on D-Day he stormed the beaches armed only with a broadsword. Yep....British badassery doesn't come any bigger than that!
