John G. “Jay” Russell III ’64 and
his wife, Linda, celebrated their
40th wedding anniversary in June.

Sue Marston Boyd ’68 presented
the Outstanding Senior Award
for Shenandoah Conservatory to
Elysia Greene ’13 in May.
Anne Hughes Hill ’54 returned
from a Bermuda cruise in August.
Within minutes of boarding the
ship, she reunited with Lois Geist
Depp ’53.

Pete ’61 and Caroline Bateman
’61 Phillips traveled to Grant
County, W.Va., to photograph
six former UB/EUB churches of
the old South Branch Circuit.
They were accompanied by Rev.
Bruce Gearhart ’59 and his wife,
Nioma, from Pennsylvania. Rev.
Gearhart was a former minister
in South Branch. They stopped
by three additional churches in
the area: Franklin, which is now
Walnut Street United Methodist
Church (UMC); St. John UMC in
Pendleton County; and Petersburg,
which is now Grove Street UMC.
They were able to photograph the
interiors of all six South Branch
churches and gather local histories.

C. Stephen Clem, Jr. ’62 retired
in June as program coordinator for
the Ohio Employee Ownership
Center at Kent State University.
Kay Kessler Druart ’62-NG is
the proud grandmother of Liam
Jackson born in June. She has fond
memories of the Dayton campus.
