It wasn ’ t until I looked into my husband ’ s blue eyes that I believed in “ love at first sight .” The birth of our son , Wyatt , further solidified that this phenomenon truly existed . He was born on December 25 , 2016 , Christmas day . When I first laid eyes on our precious gift , I was filled with so many emotions that I could not hold back the tears . How was it possible for me to love something so much , that I had only known in such a short amount of time . It was love at first sight . My perception of love instantly changed as soon as I held my baby in my arms . Life was no longer about me or anything else ; it was now all about Wyatt . Whenever I look into his eyes , I know there is no way I could ever love anything more than the way I love my precious baby .
Blair and her husband , William , live in Darlington . She is a Coronary Care Unit nurse at McLeod Health .
