To me , love is selfless and unconditional .
Love is devotion . Love is an action . The only way true love can be experienced is to fall in love with God first , so that when God brings “ the one ” into your life , you ’ ll be able to identify him because you will receive peace from God . It might not be perfect , but your marriage will forever be a party of three !
My relationship with God and my love for Him have impacted me highly in my marriage . Two years ago , my relationship with God could have been described as “ here and there .” I was raised in church but didn ’ t have a personal relationship with God . I ran away from Him and into relationships that were no good for me in the hopes that they would give me the true love for which I was looking . Those relationships only left me with my heart shattered into pieces , which left me feeling insecure .
