Sam ’ s Love Story :
I first met Veronica at my workplace . Our drink machine was broken , and she wanted her money back . Veronica was very polite . Her smile was very attractive , and she had the prettiest big bright eyes . After running into her often , I finally asked her out .
I knew my wife was the one when she fell in love with my kids . I never asked her to do anything for them , I didn ’ t need her to . Everything she did was voluntary . I was not the only one she fell hard for , and that was the moment I knew I wanted to be with her
The first time I discovered she likes sports , and playing video games - I felt like I hit the jackpot ! We would play online for hours . She never liked for me to let her win ; she wanted to earn it . We ’ re also basketball fans . I remember she surprised me with my favorite team jersey not even knowing I had one for her also . I thought that was the coolest thing .
I remember our wedding so well . After years of waiting for this day , I was excited ! Watching her come down the aisle with tears in her eyes touched my heart , and to see the look of satisfaction on my family ’ s faces because they waited patiently for this day with me .
Now , it doesn ’ t matter what we do , as long as we ’ re together . We like going to the park to play basketball . And the Loser has to make dinner . I let her win sometimes . Every day feels like Christmas . I can ’ t wait to wake up and see my gift lying beside me .
My wife loves surprises . Out of the blue I ’ ll take her on a mini vacation . We discovered getting away and focusing on us helps with reconnecting mentally and physically . We ’ re recharged and ready to take on the world together .
I do believe Veronica is my soulmate . After meeting her for the first time , I felt like I already knew her . It was like meeting my other half . We connected very quickly . It ’ s not hard for me to understand her because she ’ s so much like me . And that ’ s a soulmate .
If I could describe her in one word it would be “ loving ”. She sees the good in everything and everyone . Veronica truly is a care bear - the pink one , because her favorite color is pink . My favorite qualities I admire about my wife are her patience , kindness , and her loving nature .
I want my wife to always know that I love her . She ’ s helped me through my toughest situations . When she had the choice to walk away and live a better life she chose instead to stay with me in my darkest hour . She ’ s my shining star , my dove . In her , I find peace .

My wife taught me how to lean and depend on her and that there ’ s no weakness in resting . I am looking forward to many happy and blessed years together .
Veronica and Sam McFadden reside in Florence , SC with children Jaheim , Alana , and TreyQuan . The couple also works in Florence . Veronica is a CNA at United Methodist Manor and Sam is an Assistant Manager at KJ ’ s Market . They also have a goddaughter , Naykeisha and a “ dog daughter ”, Phoebe .
