My husband , Eddie , and I met at church . Actually , we ’ ve known each other since we were young , having grown up in the same community . We were friends long before we were ever a couple . Dating began , off and on , in high school but we always managed to remain close friends . We seemed to have that kind of connection you just can ’ t explain . We both feel that comes from being good friends long before our love relationship began . Eddie is a wonderful person who treats me like a queen ! He is my best friend , my soul mate , and my partner . I love him unconditionally .
We have been happily married for nearly 32 years - since June 8 , 1985 . Of course , there have been hard times but overall we have a great marriage . We do almost everything together . We even work together , and have been a team in the local real estate industry for over 20 years . The best thing about working together is being able to trust each other completely . We are both reaching for the same goals . We communicate and work together without difficulty .
