How We Met
We met three years ago at Grand Dunes Marina in Myrtle Beach . Grand Dunes Marina . He was a boat captain , and I was helping train new employees for Myrtle Beach Watersports . From the moment our eyes met , I knew that there was something different about Dalton . I had never felt that way before , I couldn ’ t explain it , but I knew he was my soulmate . When I watched him interact with my daughters , Ansley and Lakelyn , I knew he was “ the one .” He treats them like his own- full of love , care , and compassion everything a true daddy is . He is hands-down the most incredible man I have ever met .
The Proposal
My sweet soulmate “ popped the question ” on March 15 , 2016 . He planned for him , Ansley , Lakelyn , and I to have family portraits done on the beach . He even made sure I had my nails done for the occasion ! ( I told you he was sweet !) It was a complete setup , but a perfect setup . Some of our family members were about to be a part of the moment as I was under the notion that they were there to “ help with the girls .” After taking a few pictures , Dalton got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife .
