20 Monfalcone shipyard built
the Royal Princess

Fincantieri in Italy is one of the largest shipbuilding groups
in the world. It operates in the design and construction
of complex hi-tech ships, such as naval vessels and
modern cruise ships. For the Carnival Group, Fincantieri’s
Monfalcone shipyard has built various ships, including
the recently completed ’Royal Princess’.
28 TUI’s new cruise ship was launched
in Turku
The start of production for TUI Cruises’ environmentally
friendly cruise ship ’Mein Schiff 3’ was celebrated at STX
Finland’s Turku Shipyard approximately one year ago.
In November 2013, the float-out for this new cruise ship
was carried out. The ship is scheduled to be completed
in the spring of 2014. Another TUI cruise ship
’Mein Schiff 4’ is also currently being built at Turku
shipyard, to be delivered one year after her sister ship.
