The new draft room is housed in a former 30 x 35-foot meeting room, which now boasts an extensive array of displays, including 4K projection, a multitude of 84-inch touch displays, and an 8-foot tall touch screen video wall.

The entire digital system runs 4K from end to end, and can be controlled, from a single or multiple controllers, by anyone from an operator up to the general manager with a nominal amount of training.

“Our main concern was to ensure there was enough horsepower to display everything they need,” says Electrosonic Snr Business Development Consultant – Tom Peterson. “There are four 10Gb pipes into the stadium. We wanted to make sure that the computers can display 4K properly and handle the database locally if required. Everything is 4K-ready to anticipate future needs.”

The displays are driven by dedicated computers or data aggregators, which feed into a large video and data router, handling all room control, audio, teleconferencing and video signal processing/switching.
