Case Study

The data shows that fans with Loaded Value credit spent up to 70% more on concessions than fans without Loaded Value.

The Blazers also discovered that when Loaded Value is digitized, as it is in their Mobile Wallet, user registrations increased, Mobile Wallet adoption increased, as did active users of the mobile app.

Those increases resulted in a corresponding increase in data collection of fan spending behavior, including a breakdown by fan segment, location, and time.

The Bottom Line

~ In the first half of the season, the Blazers experienced an average of 8.5 transactions per minute per game via Mobile Wallet in the team app. Loaded Value transactions averaged 2,396 per game, with 87% being Short-Term.

~ With 21% of Loaded Value going unspent by fans, the result is $42,740 per game in incremental revenue direct to the Blazers’ bottom line.

~ Extrapolate that out over the course of a single NBA season, and we’re talking $705,035 for the team.

“Using the Venuetize platform allowed our team to pull reports faster on all mobile wallet transactions, giving us actionable insights into our fans’ behaviors,” continued Mr. Ansley.

The end result for the Blazers?

Ease and speed of transactions, rich data, and measurable ROI.
