What is Loaded Value?
Loaded Value is a digitized form of monetary funds or credit that is added to the barcode of any ticket.
An end-user cannot increase the balance of his/her Loaded Value with his/her own funds.
Loaded Value funds, also referred to as "Added Value" (e.g., by Ticketmaster), follow a "use it or lose it" model. It is Loaded Value has a finite lifetime. It can expire at the end of an event (i.e., Short-Term Loaded Value) or at the end of a season (i.e., Long-Term Loaded Value).
The business rules around the time validity are set by the Venuetize customer.
Loaded Value can be redeemed using any of the mediums associated with a ticket (i.e., physical access card, printed ticket, reprinted ticket, mobile/digital ticket, etc.) or by using a Loaded Value "card" within a Venuetize Mobile Wallet.

Based on who a fan is and what he or she is purchasing, the Mobile Wallet dynamically applies both role-based (i.e., based on user profile data) and location-based (i.e., POS system type and/or POS terminal location) parameters to generate any applicable discounts, complete the transaction, and award loyalty points.
Venuetize's Mobile Wallet provides an end-to-end solution, with full integrations into the team's Loyalty Portal, powered by SKIDATA, and POS systems, namely NCR Quest for Food & Beverage, and NCR Counterpoint (for merchandise).
As fans explored the Mobile Wallet on the official Blazers mobile app, fans could purchase tickets, upgrade tickets, and digitally transfer tickets to other fans. The Short-Term Loaded Value of these tickets also transfers with the tickets, enhancing the fan experience for the fan attending the game. The new ticket holder can now walk up to any POS terminal, use the ticket’s Loaded Value, and pay any difference by another payment method to complete the purchase.
