LEMINAR INAUGURATES
168,000 SQ.FT. LOGISTICS
CENTRE FOR HVAC
SUPPLIES
Leminar Air Conditioning Company, the leading HVAC distribution company in the Middle East,
inaugurated its Central Logistics
Centre at Ras Al Khor Industrial
Area in Dubai, UAE. The recently
expanded warehouse spreads over
an area of 168,000 square feet and
has a capacity of 7,531 pallet slots.
T
he facility is one of the largest
of its kind in the country for the
HVAC market and can accommodate a stock inventory worth up to
AED 100 million. The Central Logistics Centre is controlled by an
Oracle-based Warehouse Management System, which allows Leminar
to plan, track and monitor deliveries in an efficient manner. The WMS
currently helps in prioritising deliveries, improves labour productivity and maximises space utilisation.
Jason D Matos, Corporate Manager of Logistics, Leminar Air Conditioning, said: “The second phase
of technology upgrade is planned,
which will add several more intelligent features like ageing stock identification, quantity recommendations for fast moving products and
paperless picking. We are increasingly investing in latest technologies to streamline our operations
and ensure speedy distribution.”
