John Hylton creates work that tells stories about man’s understanding of the cosmos. “I’m creating objects to tell a new story about cosmology, the way the ancients tracked the cosmos and told stories of the stars.” Growing up in Ohio, Hylton was exposed to effigy mounds, the aerospace industry, and architecture. These experiences have stayed with him and have melded together to become the source of his current work.
