RED BLUFF, California – The Wild Ride
is an extra, open costume event for bronc
riders who are always looking to have fun.
It started when Ty Atchison rode too close
to the fence and Cort Scheer jumped on
behind him. One minute, pick up men
Jeff Shearer, Atchison, Bob Marriot, Matt
Twitchell and Bronc Boehnlien were doing
their jobs catching Flying U’s #169 after a
buck off …. then came the dare. “Ride him,
Jeff!” It touched off a spontaneous chain
reaction that won’t be forgotten any time
soon.
