SEVEN DAYS LOST ROCKNATION ISSUE 22 Interview by Tom Mathers The band just played with Misfits and Japan’s mighty Loudness what was some highlights from those shows? It was awesome to share the stage with both bands, great crowds and it was awesome to meet members of all the bands we played with on those shows. LOUDNESS sounded better than ever! The Misfits show was a packed house and we won over a lot of new fans that night. Killer sound system at that show too, love it when you feel the music hit you in the chest!! Your band had your song “Living Dead” featured on E! True Hollywood Story: Life After Reality what kinda response from fans did you get? Real possitive feedback from people who caught it on the show! The song is edited to fit the portion of the show it was on but it was real cool how it was worked in. I think people are more suprised that a band like ours, that is working its way up through the ranks was able to pull off something like this and get our music on a nationally broadcast TV show... that’s not easy to do!! It was icing on the cake to a good year for us that also included Seven Days Lost opening up for KoRn infront of about 10,000 people. If you had to tell someone what your band sounded like, what bands would you mention? Oh hell, there are so many bands that we like and have been influenced by in one way or another. I would say that Seven Days Lost sounds like KISS meets Motorhead...with a touch of W.A.S.P. thrown in! What is some of the music you listen to now? We all listen to a lot of the same music....makes it easier to be on tour and not drive the other guys crazy with the stereo! On tour we listened to AVATAR, Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch, Saxon, Murderdolls, Wednesday 13, Judas Priest, Kamelot, Pop Evil, Nightwish and a whole crap load more!! Lots of drive time everyday when we are on the road!! What plans do you have for 2016? We will be working on a new release in the early part of the year with Scott Wilson from Tantric. In the Spring we will release the CD, and head out on tour and hit the east coast. The CD name is in the air but “Hell’s Circus” is what we are thinking at this point. We may also go out as support for another band to tour Japan in late Summer if possible. Thank you for taking time for this interview and last words to the fans? You’re welcome and thank you for having us!! And to the fans...Thank you for your support!! Help spread the word about Seven Days Lost and we’ll see you on the road!! \m/
