ith this collection, Damiani and Nicoletta
Romanov, a direct descendant of the
glorious Romanov family reigned over
the great Russia for 300 years, became the
stars of an unusual journey through time.
The bow is a recurring motif in the jewelry of European
courts, which developed in the middle of the 17th century
as the result of an impulse of Marie de Rabutin-Chantal,
known as Madame de Sévigné. She was one of the first
women in the French court to decorate the front of her
bodice with bow-shaped diamond jewels. Carrying this
tradition, the Fiocco collection becomes the perfect gift of
love destined to last forever.
The Fiori d’arancio collection is an extraordinary
dialogue in which Italian spirit meets the Russian tradition,
as happened in 1952 when Nicoletta’s grandfather, Nicolas
Romanov married Countess Sveva della Gherardesca. For
the wedding ceremony, Sveva della Gherardesca wore a
tiara made up of tiny wax orange flowers which adorned
her hair like a precious bouquet. In Italy, the orange
blossom is the flower par excellence for weddings. Damiani
made the Fiori d’arancio collection, drawing inspiration
from this historic and unique specimen, carefully kept by
the granddaughter Nicoletta Romanov.
Damiani ve Rusya’ya 300 yıl boyunca hükmeden ihtişamlı Romanov ailesinden olan Nicoletta Romanov, bu
koleksiyonlarla benzersiz bir zaman yolculuğunun yıldızları

Fiyonk, 17. yüzyılın ortalarında Madame de Sévigné
olarak da bilinen Marie de Rabutin-Chantal sayesinde Avrupa saray mücevherlerinde sıklıkla görülen bir motif haline
geldi. Fransız sarayında, fiyonk şeklinde elmas mücevherlerle
