fun cutting and scratching and testing new things.
Is the DJ an entertainers “best friend” in the club? Sure, the DJ is
the one who manages the rotation (laughing). But, seriously, we all
have a role to play and the DJ is there to ensure that the dancers
have the right tunes to groove to and make that money.
How do you pick the music that will be played in the club? I pick
the music according to the guests and dancer requests. I’ve been
at this location in Oxnard since 1994. I pretty much have a pulse on
what the clientele and entertainers will like at any particular time.
