It’s Hot. Like really hot. But we all long for this season. We get out, we fish dry flies, we bake in the glorious sun that all too soon will have moved on and be replaced by long winter days full of grey skies and freezing precipitation. These days are best spent in a river or lake with a few cold ones and a silly fly pole hanging out somewhere nearby. Indeed these are the days that remind us the value of a good sweat. They remind us that it’s ok to get off the couch and get hot for a bit because we certainly won’t have hatches and wet wading in a few short months.
