When he posed, framed, exposed and processed his photos, Costica cannot have known their potential. He was using technology that was considered advanced. The subjects of Costica’s photos were lost in time when Jane Long discovered them. But she looked at the faces and wondered, imagined alternate futures, fantastical worlds and experiences for them. After 100 years, digital photography gave someone with Jane’s creative and technological gift the power to work magic.
