With the rhythmic beat of a shutter, Lissy has revealed lucid representations of childhood dream and fantasy, when we know that photography should not be able to capture such things.
Her works are beautiful, mysterious, and dreamlike. They throw us off balance. We know they are created by light through lens and shutter. But we are left to wonder whether Lissy Laricchia's camera is capturing these visions, or if the visions are capturing us.
