If you want to know about coaches’ experiences of mentoring, why not just go up to them at a conference and
ask? This is what researchers in America did to find coaches who had experience of mentoring. They found that
the most effective mentoring roles involved a mix of social support and future career support, with the role
changing depending on the experience of the mentee.
