CLUB RED SPOTLIGHT
The Club Red Spotlight is pleased to profile Mike
and Ellie. Mike and Ellie were both raised in Tacoma,
Washington and have been happily married for 25 years.
Ellie says, “I wouldn’t give him up for a million bucks.
He and I are best friends.” Together they raised two
wonderful children, and now have five grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren, with two more grandbabies
on the way.
Mike and Ellie are both retired from the LeMay Family
Collection Foundation. Ellie worked in the billing
department and Michael restored antique automobiles
for the Foundation, which is a non-profit organization
with the vision of preserving and showcasing America’s
artifacts for future generations. The Foundation was
listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the
“Largest Antique & Vintage Vehicle Collection,” with
more than 1,900 vehicles. Michael says, “One of my
favorite projects was the 1926 Rolls Royce, now seen
at the museum, and my best moments were seeing our
many projects in Cruisin’ Times Magazine.” Michael and
Ellie both explained, “We would only say the best words for the
Foundation, because they care for all of their workers.”
Mike and Ellie say they enjoy helping others and making
a difference in the world. Ellie says, “If I could make
everyone happy I would do that, anything just to make
someone smile. I have devoted my life to helping others
and that makes me happy.” Ellie says she and Mike
enjoy coming to Red Wind because they feel like family.
“The people that work here are always so respectful and
the environment is great!”
It’s an honor to have Mike and Ellie as our guests and
it’s always a pleasure seeing them at Nisqually Red
Wind Casino. Combined, they have won 116 jackpots in
Keno and 10 jackpots on the slot machines. We always
wish them the best of luck!
