The Wellness Team at Nisqually Red Wind Casino consists of health-minded
team members from various departments at Red Wind who want to help other
team members form healthy habits.
The Wellness Team was first founded in March 2010 and has been going strong
ever since. In the past, team members have been invited to participate in a
weight loss challenge. During this event, they educated the participants on
holistic approaches to losing weight, such as maintaining stress levels, eating
healthy and physical fitness. The team members really enjoyed this.
This year they, once again, have great things to offer. Here are a few areas of
focus currently being promoted by the Wellness Team: personal growth using
online courses related to stress relief and prevention and work/life balance,
weight loss and healthy eating, fitness and promoting a daily gratitude challenge
to combat depression and alcoholism. When team members participate, they
not only receive the health benefits but are entered into drawings to win
health-related prizes!
Red Wind is proud to support the Wellness Team’s efforts in getting and keeping
our team members healthy by giving them the tools to form healthy habits.
