Welcome Contents It has been another exciting and busy year for Edinburgh Napier – I hope you enjoy the highlights and stories we have included and take pride in the work of your alma mater. Of particular note, were the prestigious Queen’s Anniversary Prize that I accepted on behalf of the University at Buckingham Palace in February, in recognition of our research into sustainable construction and wood science and in early June the University was rated best out of 119 universities in the UK for nurturing student talent by the Guardian University Guide (“Value Added”).
