This show has been following
me around because people keep
sending me photos of the poster
claiming it to be the spit of me. So
I really should recommend it, not
least because it’s a blinkin’ great
and timeless. Ensure you catch the
touring Watermill Theatre on its stop
in Brighton for this calamitous bit of
musical theatre.
Starting to think about the annual Brighton Fringe Festival seems like a lifetime away yet,
but why not? This outrageous and fabulous troupe from Bangkok return every year to dazzle
audiences with their latest scintillations. Make sure you book ahead to catch the Lady Boys
parade their latest, Beauties and the Beats, as demand is always high.

Europe’s leading festival in new
music needs little introduction, and
while it’s a few months away yet,
there’s still time to snap up early
bird tickets to ensure a bargainous
weekend of musical discovery. 2014
saw the likes of Royal Blood take to
the stage in the CornEx, sharing the
line up with Wild Beasts and Kelis.
is one of the UK’s flagship theatres
with an international reputation for
producing work of the highest quality,
ranging from large-scale musicals
to distinguished dramas. The newly
refurbished Festival Theatre reopened
in 2014, following the completion of a
major project to restore and upgrade its
Grade II* listed building. Chichester’s
most recent season included Taken at
Midnight, Stevie and Gypsy, which all
transfer to London during 2015.
