Hazel eyes If you have hazel eyes you are lucky as it is a pretty unique colour. Your eyes have a gorgeous combination of tones (with green or gold flecks) and they tend to change colour! One day they might look browner, the next day they might appear greener. A touch of gold shimmer will highlight the flecks beautifully. If you wish to bring out the green colour go for beige and caramel shades. For a night out apply plum or lavender eye shadows. Eye liner and mascara doesn’t have to be black, try purple or dark brown as they will definitely bring attention to your eyes. If your eyes have more of a brown hue you can use any shade of brown. Just as with green eyes, try to avoid blue eye shadow. Grey eyes Grey eyes are rare and quite unusual so you should definitely show them off. You can maximize this gorgeous colour with makeup which will bring out underlying shades of blue, brown or green. Go for deep greys and browns, charcoal, purple, blue, teal, light pink or even black tones. Grey and charcoal eye liner will accentuate the grey colours in your eyes. Rich chocolate brown, taupe or coppery eye liner will add contrast and help to bring out the blue. I find that a black eye liner works great as well as it makes your eyes really pop. For mascara choose brown or black. Amber Eyes This colour is rare and extremely beautiful. They have a strong golden yellow hue and sometimes with copper or russet overtones and green or brown flecks. Plum and purple will enhance this uncommon colour where as bright eggplant, violet purple or red toned burgundy will bring out a golden colour. Deep gold, bronze or cooper eye shadow will bring out the green flecks. To define your eyes use dark brown eye liner, however if you wish to go for a more dramatic look, use dark purple, dark forest green or navy blue. As for mascara you could use black, brown or even something more colourful such as green, purple or burgundy. I hope that was useful. I strongly recommend that you practice and see what works best for you. Have a lovely spring, experiment with colours and enjoy the sunshine!
