Thoroughly mix 1 tablespoon of sour cream, 1 egg yolk and 1 tea spoon of Aloe Vera juice. Apply on your face and leave for 15-20 minutes. Then rinse with warm water. Sour cream nourishes, softens and smoothes the skin. It also improves blood circulation and metabolism in the deeper layers of the skin. Refresh and rejuvenate your skin with this mask suitable not only for normal skin but for any skin type. Peel 1 sour apple, finely chop and boil for 3 minutes. Add a few tablespoons of milk to give a solid mixture. It should be applied while still warm. Wash off after 20 minutes. Masks for dry skin: Mash one ripe peach with a fork. Spread evenly on your face and leave it for 15 min. Wash with lukewarm water. It is an extremely effective mask for dry skin as it hydrates, refreshes and brightens the complexion. This mask nourishes, refreshes and smooths wrinkles. Take half of banana and mash it with a fork to get a solid mixture. Add 1 tablespoon of milk or cream and mix well. Spread the mixture on your face and wash after 15-20 min. Take one ripe avocado crush it well in a bowl and add a couple of drops of natural calendula oil. Mix well until smooth. Apply to the face and leave for 10 - 15 mins. This mask will perfectly moisturise the skin and calendula oil will protect against skin inflammations. Masks for sensitive skin: Grate a quarter of a cucumber into a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt and 1 tablespoon of natural honey and mix well. Apply on your face and leave it for 10 - 15 min. Wash with lukewarm water. This mask will perfectly refresh your face leaving it bright, even and smooth. With this simple mask smooth and soft skin is guaranteed! All you need is honey and an egg yolk. Add one table spoon of honey into an egg yolk mix well and apply on your face. Wash off with warm water after 20 min. You can also replace an egg yolk with a table spoon of olive oil. It’s nourishing, revitalising and helps to smooth fine lines too. Dark chocolate mask is a great moisturiser with natural antioxidants. Since chocolate is a natural antidepressant this face mask will help you to relax and unwind. You will need 100 g of dark chocolate, 3 tablespoons of salt and 1 cup of milk. Pour the milk in a small cup, add salt and stir until it’s dissolved. Melt the dark chocolate and then pour in the milk and salt mixture and stir until smooth. Leave the mask to cool to room temperature before applying the mixture on your face. Leave it for 15-20 minutes. Wash off with warm water. Masks for oily skin: Peel a kiwi and mash it with a fork to get a solid texture. Apply a thick layer on your face. Leave it for 15 minutes and wash. Kiwi contains some acid so you might feel some tingling. This is a great mask to tighten pores. For this mask you will need an egg white and lemon juice. Whisk an egg white with the juice of half a lemon and apply on your face for 10-15 minutes. This mask is great for acne prone skin, it will also help to clear clogged pores. Take a tomato and peel off the skin. It will be quicker if you pour some boiling water over it. Grind it to a paste and apply on your face. Wash off the mask with warm water after 15 - 20 minutes. Tomatoes are rich in fat absorbent acids as well as natural antioxidants and vitamin C needed for healthy skin. This tomato mask is great not only for oily skin but for acne prone skin too. As budgets may be tight before the holiday season it’s a perfect opportunity to save money but still look great. It’s a win win situation.
