Gingerbread House Construction Gingerbread House Christmas is that time of year which evokes wonderful images of festive celebrations, mulled wine by the fire and presents under a tree covered in beautiful decorations. Fruit cake has always been another traditional staple but if you are not a fan consider making a gingerbread house instead. They are tremendous fun to create – once you have the basic structure sorted, how you decorate it is really down to you.
