Crawley Town FC Crawley Town FC are increasing their presence in Crawley town centre with the use of a mobile shop and ticket sales point in Queen’s Square. It has already generated plenty of foot-fall in the weeks leading up to Christmas and is all part of the club’s ongoing initiatives to make itself more visible in the town. Chief Executive Michael Dunford said: “Our stadium is on the outskirts of Crawley so by going into the town in this way we bring the club to the shoppers and people of Crawley and that can only help to enhance our profile.” Lewes FC Lewes United is the name of a brand new initiative from Lewes FC to help develop the skills of young local footballers while still supporting existing Junior Clubs. Usually professional and semi-professional football clubs operate Development Centres where the player is removed from their junior club, but this is not how Lewes wants to do things.
