Rohan Ince won the Goal of the Season
Award with 68% of the vote following his
stunning volley against Swindon.
The late Sarah Watts was posthumously
honoured on the night after being voted
as the James Brynin Fan of the Season
Award, collected on her behalf by close
friend, Liz Costa.
Albion’s crowd doctor, Rob Galloway,
was the first recipient of the Sarah Watts
Inspiration Award after saving the lives of
three fans from near-fatal cardiac arrests
since the Amex opened in 2011.
Powerchair player Matt Francis was
given the Community Achievement
Award, chosen by Albion in the
Community, after his incredible
progression in the sport and going onto
represent England.
Finally, Albion Executive Director Martin
Perry was presented with the Special
Achievement Award following years of
distinguished service to the club and
his considerable efforts in helping to
make the American Express Community
Stadium and the American Express Elite
Football Performance Centre a reality.
In addition to the awards it was great
to see seven members of Albion’s
1964/65 Fourth Division Championship
winning side who were present on the
night and were each given a special
commemorative shirt to honour the
achievement 50 years ago.
Here’s to next season!
