This year Jazz FM have organised what will be the first green field jazz festival in the UK in over twenty years ! Featuring three days and a very diverse line-up , from Jools Holland and Bryan Ferry to math indie titans Three Trapped Tigers and acid jazz veterans Brand New Heavies , this festival looks to explore all avenues of jazz . Nestled in the South Downs near the small village of Glynde , this is another local festival for Sussex to be proud of .

Having won almost every brass band accolade , these musicians have a highly acclaimed international reputation with numerous television appearances and recordings to their credit . Enjoy the fabulous sound of this world famous brass band , performing your favourite classics with passion and style . There is always something very moving about such a large brass performance and the history of the colliery bands as well as the continual threat to the band ’ s future since they were first affected by the famous 1992 pit closures , has a lot to do with that .

Why not head to West Dean ’ s Chilli Fiesta this August , now one of the UK ’ s largest and most popular chilli events . This year , for this first time , you can camp in the fabulous grounds of the West Dean Estate , near Chichester .
