Welcome

Spring is in the air !
There is a bit of daylight when I leave for Re : Towers in the mornings and we have daffodils in the vase at home . Sure signs that it must be Spring .
As you may have read in our last issue we are doing our bit for charity in quite a unique way , we are hosting a Medieval Banquet in aid of charity partner Rockinghorse . We have developed a little bit of medieval madness and as a consequence this is our medieval issue .
You will have noticed on the front cover that in this issue I have been interviewing Alan Kingshott MVO who is the Chief Yeoman Warder at the Tower of London . It ’ s not everyday that you get to go behind the scenes of one of the world ’ s most iconic historic buildings with the Head Beefeater . Alan is about to retire after 19 years at the Tower and has a few stories to tell .
I have been out reviewing for you and this issue has a double hotel and restaurant review from Hotel du Vin in Brighton . I got to stay in their top suite which I have to say is the most unique bedroom that I have ever had the pleasure of sleeping in .
Jade has been off to the Spanish island of Tenerife with her boyfriend Andrew and you can read all about their exploits in our regular Where we ’ ve been feature including a magical sounding trip up Mount Teide at night to see the stars .
Amber has been working her socks off to bring you some interesting articles and has also caught up with the nice chaps at Bison Beer Crafthouse to hear about their crowdfunding project for the Bison Arms . They are also offering up a case of their delicious brew in our reader competition .
As always we have included some really informative pieces in this issue from a few of our expert solicitors on areas of the law that we think will be both interesting and helpful . If there are any particular legal topics you would like covered in a future issue then please let me know .
This is now our 18th issue and although a lot of work goes into each issue the team here also have a lot of fun putting it together for you . We would love to get your opinion on Re : Magazine so that we can make sure that we continue to produce content that you want to read . So if you can spare a few moments please drop me a line or visit our Facebook page .

It is always a mad dash as we reach deadline here at Re : Magazine and as a consequence we sometimes miss the odd typo . We are but human . If you spot one then please let me know , whoever spots the most does not get a prize I ’ m afraid but you will receive our thanks for being eagle-eyed and it helps prove that you actually read the words and not just see the pretty pictures .
